1. Don’t smoke:- 
Experiments from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher)

2. Don’t eat fruits immediately:- 
Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Thre fore take fruits 1 -2 hours after meal or 1 hour before meal.

3. Don’t drink tea:- 
Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the protein content in the food we consume to be hundred thus difficult to digest.

4. Don’t loosen your belt: 
Loosening the belt after meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted and blocked.

5. Don’t bath:- 
Bathing after meal will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs and body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease, this will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.

6. Don’t walk about:- 
People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.

7. Don’t sleep immediately:- 
The food we intake will not be to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric and infection in our intestine.

Gallstones

Gallstones

A gallstone, is a lump of hard material usually range in size from a grain of sand to 3-4 cms. They are formed inside the gallbladder formed as a result of precipitation of cholesterol and bile salts from the bile.

Types of gallstones and causes

Cholesterol stones
Pigment stones
Mixed stones - the most common type. They are comprised of cholesterol and salts.

Cholesterol stones are usually yellow-green and are made primarily of hardened cholesterol. They account for about 80 percent of gallstones. Scientists believe cholesterol stones form when bile contains too much cholesterol, too much bilirubin, or not enough bile salts, or when the gallbladder does not empty as it should for some other reason.

Pigment stones are small, dark stones made of bilirubin. The exact cause is not known. They tend to develop in people who have cirrhosis, biliary tract infections, and hereditary blood disorders such as sickle cell anaemia in which too much bilirubin is formed.

Other causes are related to excess excretion of cholesterol by liver through bile. They include the following

Gender. Women between 20 and 60 years of age are twice as likely to develop gallstones as men.

Obesity. Obesity is a major risk factor for gallstones, especially in women.

Oestrogen. Excess oestrogen from pregnancy, hormone replacement therapy, or birth control pills

Cholesterol-lowering drugs.

Diabetes. People with diabetes generally have high levels of fatty acids called triglycerides.

Rapid weight loss. As the body metabolizes fat during rapid weight loss, it causes the liver to secrete extra cholesterol into bile, which can cause gallstones.

At a petrol pump, a man came over and offered his services as a painter to a lady filling petrol in her car and left his visiting card. She said nothing but accepted his card out of sheer kindness and got into the car. The man then got into a car driven by another person.
As the lady left the service station, she saw the men following her out of the station at the same time. Almost immediately, she started to feel dizzy and could not catch her breath. She tried to open the window and realised that the odour was on her hand; the same hand with which she had received the card from the person at the service station. She then noticed the men were immediately behind her and she felt she needed to do something at that moment. She drove into the first driveway and began to honk her horn repeatedly to ask for help.
The men drove away but the lady still felt pretty bad for several minutes after she could finally catch her breath.Apparently, there was a substance on the card that could have seriously injured her. This drug is called 'BURUNDANGA'. (Not known To People So Far but
sufficient Information Is available in the Net) and it is used by people who
wish to incapacitate a victim in order to steal from or take advantage of them. This drug is four times more dangerous than the date rape drug and is transferable on a simple card or paper.. So please take care and make sure you don't accept cards when you are alone or from someone on the streets. This applies to those making house calls and slipping you a card when they offer their services.

Turmeric Juice – a powerful healing beverage

Turmeric is known to be one of the most powerful healing herbs. It is great for bones and joints as it has anti-inflammatory properties. It prevents metastases from occurring in many different forms of cancer.
Turmeric’s also a natural liver detoxifier and a kidney cleanser, and it speeds metabolism and aids in weight management. Plus it heals and alleviates conditions of depression, psoriasis, damaged skin, arthritis and more. For these reasons, turmeric is ubiquitous both in Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine.
 
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
  • 5-7 inches turmeric
  • 5-7 tamarind
  • 2 lemons
  • raw honey
  • Purified water
  • blender
  • strainer
  • bowl
  • mason jar(s) or other glass jar with lid
1. Peel turmeric. Your fingers will turn yellow. Don’t worry! All-natural dish soap gets it right out. If your cutting board or counter top get stained, slather on dish soap and rub it in. Let it soak in for 5 min or longer, then scrub with water and sponge. The turmeric stain will vanish!

2. Crack and open tamarind. Make sure you get all the inner roots off, too. We’re only going to use the inner fruit.

3. Fill a big pot with water, put peeled turmeric in and let it boil for at least 20 minutes until the water becomes a rich and vibrant marigold color.

4. While the turmeric water is boiling, get a pan and pour 1 inch of water in with the peeled tamarind. Move the fruit around with a wooden utensil, mix it in with the water so it can melt and dissolve into a jam like texture. More water shouldn’t be needed, but if it’s looking’ a bit dry, pour water in as needed.
By this time, you should be able to see the little seeds coming out. When the texture looks soft, turn heat off and let it cool down.

5. Go back to the turmeric water. By now, the color should look ready. Pour a little bit of cold water to lower the temperature. Take the turmeric water and pour it into the blender with the turmeric. We boiled it so the root could soften and have more flavor, now it’s ready to buzz in the blender for even more flavor and richness! Blend, blend, blend. The color now should look like an extra extra fiery marigold.

6. Go back to the tamarind in the pan. Pour substance into the strainer that is placed on top of a small bowl to catch the tamarind. Swish the jam like substance around in the strainer with the wooden utensil— we only want to use the soft bits of the fruit. No seeds, no seed peels.

7. Pour the tamarind that has been caught in the bowl into the blender with the turmeric water. Buzz it around again.

8. We’re almost done. Squeeze your lemons into the blender. Now take the blender and pour your yummy juice into your mason jar(s). Add honey to taste, close with lid, shake it up to mix.

9. Store in fridge up to 3-4 days and drink daily! To your health… enjoy!

Important Nutrients

Vitamins and minerals are essential to human health and wellness, helping with body functions and protecting against illness. If you don't have a vitamin deficiency and eat a varied diet rich in nutrients, you probably get enough vitamins and minerals naturally. Vitamin D

Most people don't develop deficiencies in these vitamins because so many grains are enriched with them, but if your diet is made up of mostly white foods, it may help to eat better or take supplements.

Folate

Folate helps the body make new cells and is especially vital for infants and pregnant women who are experiencing rapid cell division. It's best to get calcium through food, but a supplement may work for those who are lactose intolerant or are not getting enough calcium in their diet.

Magnesium

बालों का बढ़ना I

चिकित्सा :

1. अमरबेल : 250 ग्राम अमरबेल को लगभग 3 लीटर पानी में उबालें। जब पानी आधा रह जाये तो इसे उतार लें। सुबह इससे बालों को धोयें। इससे बाल लंबे होते हैं।

2. त्रिफला : त्रिफला के 2 से 6 ग्राम चूर्ण में लगभग 1 ग्राम का चौथा भाग लौह भस्म मिलाकर सुबह-शाम सेवन करने से बालों का झड़ना बन्द हो जाता है।

3. कलौंजी : 50 ग्राम कलौंजी 1 लीटर पानी में उबाल लें। इस उबले हुए पानी से बालों को धोएं। इससे बाल 1 महीने में ही काफी लंबे हो जाते हैं।

4. नीम : नीम और बेर के पत्त
ों को पानी के साथ पीसकर सिर पर लगा लें और इसके 2-3 घण्टों के बाद बालों को धो डालें। इससे बालों का झड़ना कम हो जाता है और बाल लंबे भी होते हैं।

5. लहसुन : लहसुन का रस निकालकर सिर में लगाने से बाल उग आते हैं।


6. सीताफल : सीताफल के बीज और बेर के बीज के पत्ते बराबर मात्रा में लेकर पीसकर बालों की जड़ों में लगाएं। ऐसा करने से बाल लंबे हो जाते हैं।

7. आम : 10 ग्राम आम की गिरी को आंवले के रस में पीसकर बालों में लगाना चाहिए। इससे बाल लंबे और घुंघराले हो जाते हैं।

8. शिकाकाई : शिकाकाई और सूखे आंवले को 25-25 ग्राम लेकर थोड़ा-सा कूटकर इसके टुकड़े कर लें। इन टुकड़ों को 500 ग्राम पानी में रात को डालकर भिगो दें। सुबह इस पानी को कपड़े के साथ मसलकर छान लें और इससे सिर की मालिश करें। 10-20 मिनट बाद नहा लें। इस तरह शिकाकाई और आंवलों के पानी से सिर को धोकर और बालों के सूखने पर नारियल का तेल लगाने से बाल लंबे, मुलायम और चमकदार बन जाते हैं। गर्मियों में यह प्रयोग सही रहता है। इससे बाल सफेद नहीं होते अगर बाल सफेद हो भी जाते हैं तो वह काले हो जाते हैं।

9. मूली : आधी से 1 मूली रोजाना दोपहर में खाना-खाने के बाद, कालीमिर्च के साथ नमक लगाकर खाने से बालों का रंग साफ होता है और बाल लंबे भी हो जाते हैं। इसका प्रयोग 3-4 महीने तक लगातार करें। 1 महीने तक इसका सेवन करने से कब्ज, अफारा और अरुचि में आराम मिलता है।
नोट : मूली जिसके लिए फयदेमन्द हो वही इसका प्रयोग कर सकते हैं।

10. आंवला : सूखे आंवले और मेंहदी को समान मात्रा में लेकर शाम को पानी में भिगो दें। प्रात: इससे बालों को धोयें। इसका प्रयोग लगातार कई दिनों तक करने से बाल मुलायम और लंबे हो जायेंगे।

11. ककड़ी : ककड़ी में सिलिकन और सल्फर अधिक मात्रा में होता है जो बालों को बढ़ाते हैं। ककड़ी के रस से बालों को धोने से तथा ककड़ी, गाजर और पालक सबको मिलाकर रस पीने से बाल बढ़ते हैं। यदि यह सब उपलब्ध न हो तो जो भी मिले उसका रस मिलाकर पी लें। इस प्रयोग से नाखून गिरना भी बन्द हो जाता है।

12. रीठा
* कपूर कचरी 100 ग्राम, नागरमोथा 100 ग्राम, कपूर तथा रीठे के फल की गिरी 40-40 ग्राम, शिकाकाई 250 ग्राम और आंवले 200 ग्राम की मात्रा में लेकर सभी का चूर्ण तैयार कर लें। इस मिश्रण के 50 ग्राम चूर्ण में पानी मिलाकर लुग्दी (लेप) बनाकर बालों में लगाना चाहिए। इसके पश्चात् बालों को गरम पानी से खूब साफ कर लें। इससे सिर के अन्दर की जूं-लींकें मर जाती हैं और बाल मुलायम हो जाते हैं।
* रीठा, आंवला, सिकाकाई तीनों को मिलाने के बाद बाल धोने से बाल सिल्की, चमकदार, रूसी-रहित और घने हो जाते हैं।

13. गुड़हल : * गुड़हल के फूलों के रस को निकालकर सिर में डालने से बाल बढ़ते हैं।
* गुड़हल के पत्तों को पीसकर लुग्दी बना लें। इस लुग्दी को नहाने से 2 घंटे पहले बालों की जड़ों में मालिश करके लगायें। फिर नहायें और इसे साफ कर लें। इस प्रयोग को नियमित रूप से करते रहने से न केवल बालों को पोषण मिलेगा, बल्कि सिर में भी ठंड़क का अनुभव होगा।


* गुड़हल के पत्ते और फूलों को बराबर की मात्रा में लेकर पीसकर लेप तैयार करें। इस लेप को सोते समय बालों में लगाएं और सुबह धोयें। ऐसा कुछ दिनों तक नियमित रूप से करने से बाल स्वस्थ बने रहते हैं।
* गुड़हल के ताजे फूलों के रस में जैतून का तेल बराबर मिलाकर आग पर पकायें, जब जल का अंश उड़ जाये तो इसे शीशी में भरकर रख लें। रोजाना नहाने के बाद इसे बालों की जड़ों में मल-मलकर लगाना चाहिए। इससे बाल चमकीले होकर लंबे हो जाते हैं।



14. शांखपुष्पी : शांखपुष्पी से निर्मित तेल रोज लगाने से सफेद बाल काले हो जाते हैं।


15. भांगरा :
* बालों को छोटा करके उस स्थान पर जहां पर बाल न हों भांगरा के पत्तों के रस से मालिश करने से कुछ ही दिनों में अच्छे काले बाल निकलते हैं जिनके बाल टूटते हैं या दो मुंहे हो जाते हैं। उन्हें इस प्रयोग को अवश्य ही करना चाहिए।
* त्रिफला के चूर्ण को भांगरा के रस में 3 उबाल देकर अच्छी तरह से सुखाकर खरल यानी पीसकर रख लें। इसे प्रतिदिन सुबह के समय लगभग 2 ग्राम तक सेवन करने से बालों का सफेद होना बन्द जाता है तथा इससे आंखों की रोशनी भी बढ़ती है।
* आंवलों का मोटा चूर्ण करके, चीनी के मिट्टी के प्याले में रखकर ऊपर से भांगरा का इतना डाले कि आंवले उसमें डूब जाएं। फिर इसे खरलकर सुखा लेते हैं। इसी प्रकार 7 भावनाएं (उबाल) देकर सुखा लेते हैं। प्रतिदिन 3 ग्राम की मात्रा में ताजे पानी के साथ सेवन से करने से असमय ही बालों का सफेद होना बन्द जाता है। यह आंखों की रोशनी को बढ़ाने वाला, उम्र को बढ़ाने वाला लाभकारी योग है।
* भांगरा, त्रिफला, अनन्तमूल और आम की गुठली का मिश्रण तथा 10 ग्राम मण्डूर कल्क व आधा किलो तेल को एक लीटर पानी के साथ पकायें। जब केवल तेल शेष बचे तो इसे छानकर रख लें। इसके प्रयोग से बालों के सभी प्रकार के रोग मिट जाते हैं।

16. अनन्तमूल : अनन्तमूल की जड़ का चूर्ण 2-2 ग्राम दिन में 3 बार पानी के साथ सेवन करने से सिर का गंजापन दूर होता है।

17. तिल :
* तिल के पौधे की जड़ और पत्तों के काढ़े से बालों को धोने से बालों पर काला रंग आने लगता है।
* काले तिलों के तेल को शुद्ध करके बालों में लगाने से बाल असमय में सफेद नहीं होते हैं। प्रतिदिन सिर में तिल के तेल की मालिश करने से बाल हमेशा मुलायम, काले और घने रहते हैं।
* तिल के फूल और गोक्षुर को बराबर मात्रा में लेकर घी और शहद में पीसकर लेप बना लें। इसे सिर पर लेप करने से गंजापन दूर होता है।
* तिल के तेल की मालिश करने के एक घंटे बाद एक तौलिया गर्म पानी में डुबोकर उसे निचोड़कर सिर पर लपेट लें तथा ठण्डा होने पर दोबारा गर्म पानी में डुबोकर निचोड़कर सिर पर लपेट लें। इस प्रकार 5 मिनट लपेटे रखें। फिर ठंड़े पानी से सिर को धो लें। ऐसा करने से बालों की रूसी दूर हो जाती है।

उच्च रक्तचाप की बीमारी ठीक करने के लिए घर में उपलब्ध कुछ आयुर्वेदिक दबाईया है जो आप ले सकते है । जैसे एक बहुत अछि दावा आप के घर में है वो है दालचीनी जो मसाले के रूप में उपयोग होता है वो आप पत्थर में पिस कर पावडर बनाके आधा चम्मच रोज सुबह खाली पेट गरम पानी के साथ खाइए ; अगर थोडा खर्च कर सकते है तो दालचीनी को शहद के साथ लीजिये (आधा चम्मच शहद आधा चम्मच दालचीनी) गरम पानी के साथ, ये हाई BP के लिए बहुत अछि दावा है । और एक अछि दावा है जो आप ले सकते है पर दोनों में से कोई एक । दूसरी दावा है मेथी दाना, मेथी दाना आधा चम्मच लीजिये एक ग्लास गरम पानी में और रात को भिगो दीजिये, रात भर पड़ा रहने दीजिये पानी में और सुबह उठ कर पानी को पि लीजिये और मेथी दाने को चबा के खा लीजिये । ये बहुत जल्दी आपकी हाई BP कम कर देगा, देड से दो महीने में एकदम स्वाभाविक कर देगा ।
