How to Brew a Cup of Green Tea

Producing the perfect cup of green tea is a tricky process. If not handled properly, those same polyphenols that provide health benefits can ruin the flavor, making the tea taste "gassy." It's particularly important not to overbrew. While it's best to follow the manufacturer's instructions for each variety of green tea, here are some general instructions:

Use 2 - 4 grams of tea,* per cup. Fill a kettle with cold water and bring to a boil. After unplugging the kettle, allow it to stand for up to 3 minutes. Pour the heated water over the tea, and allow it to steep for up to 3 minutes. Allow the tea to cool for three more minutes.

*One to two teaspoons, depending on the variety of green tea you are brewing.

ऐसी बीमारिया करता है ये एरंड का मामूली पौधा...


लड़कियों और महीलाओं के लिए ये मामूली पौधा बहुत खास है। एरंड का ये पौधा लड़कियों और महिलाओं की हर तरह की बीमारियों को दूर करता है। एरंड का पौधा आठ से पंद्रह फीट लंबा होता है। इसकी पत्तियों के विशेष आकार के कारण इसे गन्धर्वहस्त के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। चाहे इसके बीज हों या पत्तियां और तो और इसकी जड़ों का भी औषधीय प्रयोग होता आया है। आइए इसके कुछ औषधीय प्रयोगों को जानें....


-गर्भवती स्त्री को सुखपूर्वक प्रसव कराने के लिए आठवें महीने के बाद पंद्रह दिनों के अंतर पर दस मिली लीटर एरंड का तेल पिलाना चाहिए और ठीक प्रसव के समय पच्चीस से तीस मिली लीटर केस्टर आयल को दूध के साथ देने से शीघ्र प्रसव होता है।


-एरंड के तेल का प्रयोग ब्रेस्ट मसाज आयल के रूप में स्तनों को उभारने में भी किया जाता है। साथ ही स्तन शोथ में इसके बीजों की गिरी को सिरके में एक साथ पीसकर लगाने से सूजन में लाभ मिलता है।


-प्रसूता स्त्री में जब दूध न आ रहा हो या स्तनों में गाँठ पड़ गयी हो तो आधा किलो एरंड के पत्तों को लगभग दस लीटर पानी में एक घंटे तक उबालें। अब इस प्रकार प्राप्त हल्के गरम पानी को धार के रूप में स्तनों पर डालें तथा लगातार एरंड तेल की मालिश करें और शेष बचे पत्तों की पुलटीश को गाँठ वाले स्थान पर बाँध दें। गांठें कम होना प्रारम्भ हो जाएंगी तथा स्तनों से पुन: दूध आने लगेगा।


-एरंड के पत्तों के 5 मिली रस को और समान मात्रा में घृतकुमारी स्वरस को मिलाकर यकृत (Liver) व प्लीहा (Spleen) के रोगों में लाभ होता है।


- किसी भी प्रकार के सूजन में इसके पत्तों को गरम कर उस स्थान पर बांधने मात्र से सूजन कम हो जाती है।


-पांच मिली एरंड की जड़ के रस को पीने से पीलिया यानी कामला (जौंडिस) में लाभ मिलता है।


-फिशर (परिकर्तिका) के रोग में रोगी को एरंड के तेल को पिलाना फायदेमंद होता है।
